Bird Habitat

In Hutchins, Texas, Republic Services donated 20 acres of restored wetland habitat to serve as the home of Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. This habitat helps injured, sick or orphaned birds return to their natural environment.
It’s the largest all-species avian rehabilitation center of its kind in North Texas, and it includes a critical care clinic, exhibits, a museum and a classroom. At any given time, more than 600 birds, of various species, reside at the wildlife center.
