The 24/7/365 emergency response hotline is answered by a team of full time US Ecology Emergency Response Specialists located on-site, who are experienced professionals with over 100 years of combined experience in the environmental industry.
Handling large call volumes with ease. Last year, we experienced a substantial increase in call volumes due the COVID-19 pandemic and the heightened need for emergency decontamination services. Our team fielded up to 1,700 calls per month and despite the increased workload continued to provide our customers with consistent, high quality and timely responses. We use a standardized process from receipt of the initial call and dispatch of response personnel to documentation and final invoicing.
State-of-the-art tracking system. Each call received is entered into our in-house ticketing system which enables the Emergency Response Specialist to capture critical data, provide real time updates, consolidate response documentation and create reports. This interactive ticketing system is connected to our customer facing Emergency Response Portal, allowing customers to see live updates, documentation, various dashboards and input live notes. The Emergency Response Specialist is the liaison between the field and the customer and serves as the quality assurance/quality control point for the response. We provide consistency, not only in our field operations but also from a financial perspective. Controls are in place to ensure that dispatched resources and time on-site are consistent with the response requirements.
