Atlanta, GA: Rebuilding Together Atlanta and our Republic Services team worked together to transform A.D. Williams Park. They upgraded the baseball field with new dugouts, a backstop and shade area for fans, and resurfaced the park’s basketball court. As a final phase of the project, our local team spent a day building and planting a community garden.- Grand Rapids, MI: Dwelling Place of Grand Rapids converted local rental units into homeownership opportunities and elevated the surrounding outdoor spaces with the creation of a playground area and community garden. Republic Services volunteers teamed up to install garden beds and more. By working together, we’re proud to support Dwelling Place’s mission to create affordable housing and revitalize neighborhoods.
Las Vegas, NV : Team members in Las Vegas brought the heat to volunteer withRebuilding Together Southern Nevada (RTSVN) and helped clean up a neighborhood in Las Vegas’ Historic Westside area. As a part of their project, RTSNV renovated spaces at Andre Agassi Boys and Girls Club. Renovations included remodeling the bathrooms and kitchen, painting the gym and other projects.Phoenix, AZ: Our local volunteers joinedRebuilding Together Valley of the Sun to support renovations at the Heart of Isaac Community Center. Volunteers helped renovate the small food pantry to increase storage and capacity and distributed hygiene kits to residents. These efforts allow the community center to serve individuals in the area better.- St. Louis, MO: In partnership with the city of St. John and Republic Services,
Rebuilding Together St. Louis transformed a 20,000 square foot vacant lot into a thriving community garden for area residents. Our local team assisted with the revitalization work by building ADA-compliant grow beds, installing shaded benches, additional garden beds, a pergola, picnic tables, and more.
