In 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Republic Services launched

From Atlanta to Seattle, from San Diego to Boston, we've committed to supporting critical resources and repairs to small businesses during a time of incredible need.
In the Akron and Cleveland areas, Rebuilding Together Northeast Ohio (RTNEO) is helping nine businesses. To date, the RTNEO team has already completed projects at Ninja City in Cleveland and Roma Pizzeria in Mogadore – the organization helped the restaurants set up and enhance outdoor dining spaces.
Our local leaders are truly champions of our community-focused initiatives and provide support to our nonprofit partners as projects move forward. While the COVID-19 pandemic limits volunteer opportunities, our local teams are still providing donated dumpster services, waste collections, and recycling to support cleanup projects and renovations.
We are dedicated to helping strengthen the neighborhoods where our employees live, work, and play by committing to revitalize our neighborhoods and small businesses that drive local economies.
