Working with other community organizations, Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is revitalizing spaces at
More than 60 Republic Services volunteers are helping reinvigorate the space by completing the community garden. Volunteers will help build planters, install pavers, and complete other critical projects that will help make the garden a functional neighborhood space. When the revitalization project is complete, the space at the Rondo Commemorative Plaza will provide the community with an enhanced resource to gather, perform, recreate, celebrate cultural heritage and reconnect.
In honor of Juneteenth, local community leaders will join Rondo Commemorative Plaza to dedicate the space on Saturday, June 19, and celebrate the importance of the neighborhood.
Republic Services is proud to be supporting this critical project and investing in the historic Rondo neighborhood. Our partnership with Rebuilding Together Twin Cities and the project at the Rondo Commemorative Plaza is just one example of how Republic Services is investing in communities. Local teams are deeply committed to helping restore the neighborhoods we serve and have worked with Rebuilding Together Twin Cities on two other revitalization projects.
