Service will be delayed by one day due to the holiday. For example, if your regular service day falls on Christmas or New Year’s Day, Friday garbage & recycling will be serviced on Saturday.

Woodburn Recycling Depot
Location: 2215 N Front St, Woodburn, OR 97071
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, and Saturday 8:00AM to 1:00PM
Silverton Saturday Recycling Depot
Location: 830 McClaine St, Silverton, OR 97381
Hours of Operation: Saturday 8:00AM to 2:00PM
Acceptable Materials: Antifreeze, Batteries, Cardboard, Cooking Oil, e-Waste, Glass Jars & Bottles, Mixed Recycling, Motor Oil, Paint, Scrap Metal.
Not Accepted Materials: No Trash, Yard Debris, or Food Scraps are collected at the Woodburn Recycling Depot or the Silverton Recycling Depot.

Glass bottles and jars are recyclable in your blue bin.

No. Do not place plastic bags in your curbside bins for recycling.
The best way to recycle your plastic bags is to bundle them, clean and dry, in one bag and bring them to a store that collects them for recycling.
No, the only plastics we accept are bottles and jugs.
Please donate nursery pots for reuse or place them in the trash.
- Styrofoam® cannot be recycled in the blue cart.
- Styrofoam® must be bagged and placed in the garbage.
This material cannot go in the commingled cart as it falls through the sorting machinery and contaminates other recycling. Instead, try using a shredding service, going through your bank or avoiding shredding when possible. Shredding also shortens the paper fibers and reduces the number of times it can be recycled.
To avoid extra charges, the lid on your mixed organics cart must close. This allows the truck to empty the cart without debris spilling onto the street. Additional yard debris carts can be added to your service level for a set rate. Please consult your City’s approved rate sheet for details.do I dispose of animal waste?
- Please double bag dog waste and other pet waste and place into the garbage.
- Do NOT place it in the yard debris/organics cart.
- Non-recyclables contaminate recycling loads, the entire load will be sent to a landfill.
- When in doubt...find out or throw it out in the garbage.
- Food contamination and liquids can cause mold and contaminate the entire load.

Service & Billing
We found material that didn't belong in either your recycling or yard debris cart. Our drivers monitor each load we pick up. If they find household trash, plastic bags, or other material that doesn't belong, we send a reminder postcard outlining the contamination and offering assistance. If the contamination continues, the contamination fee is applied for every reoccurrence.

If you will be away for two weeks or more, you can call to have your service put on a temporary vacation hold. Your bill will be prorated.

Drivers work on all holidays EXCEPT: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day.
If your regular service falls on one of these holidays, your carts will be collected on the day following the holiday and all service for the rest of the week will be one day later.
