But, Shakespeare was quite familiar with the oyster – a modern-day Alabama gem. After all, he brought us the phrase – “The world is your oyster.”
Its meaning? The world is yours; make of it what you will.

Those would be good bets.
But these and other distinguished awards are also going to an unlikely recipient — us.

Why We Put Our People First
It’s human nature to reach out and help those who are victims of natural disasters, such as Hurricane Harvey. People want to help in any way they can, be it through donations and volunteerism or as a Good Samaritan, like many Texans have done – coming to the aid of search and rescue teams. This instinct to help a neighbor in need illuminates the very best of the human spirit.
