San Bernardino Sustainability Park
About
The San Bernardino Sustainability Park is home to one of the largest compost facilities in California. The facility has the initial capability to process more than 300,000 tons of green and food waste per year, with the capability to process 600,000 tons/year in years to come. The facility is located in the high desert of San Bernardino County. It will be operational by summer of 2026.
The facility is permitted to recycle green waste and food waste. 140 acres in total, with 60 acres dedicated for compost operations.
State-of-the-art positive aerated static pile compost facility, with multiple blowers to provide continuous aeration to the compost material to minimize odors.

Our facility will be operating at 50% of permitted capacity when it opens in summer 2026. We project reaching full operational capacity in the following years, as we scale operations.
